Web Hosting

AWPS does not actually provide web hosting services at the present time.  We do recommend specific host providers based on the needs of the client.

Choosing a host provider is an extremely important process and we will assist you from start to finish.  We can handle the entire process for you, from registering a domain name to coordinating activation with the host provider.

Usually selecting the proper host provider is based on your requirements.  We have the experience to not only select reliable host providers, but also those providers who provide the services you'll need.  Some providers provide adequate service with regards to providing "space" for your website but lack in important areas such as data space storage, server side scripting for forms and windows/linux based data resources.  It's important to define your actual requirements and make the proper selection based on those requirements.

The process of obtaining a domain name and properly registering it is actually quite painless.  You may opt to obtain your own domain name, if you haven't already done so, and sign on with a host provider of your choice.  It's good to research your actual requirements and what a host provider offers to meet these requirements prior to entering into an agreement.  Or we would be happy to perform these functions for you.  The cost of our plans do not include the cost of registering a domain name or purchasing a hosting plan.  The cost of these requirements vary, depending on the host provider and the length of the agreement.  Usually registering a domain name and obtaining host server space can be accomplished for approximately $120 for the first year.  Extended agreements beyond a year for hosting will usually reduce the "per year" cost significantly.
